Ooh. I just finished a really heated issue of Civil War. The comparison of Iron Man to Judas was a powerful closer. Spider Man just threw himself out a window to escape him, and has sent mary jane and his aunt out of the country. But at the same time, lesser known heros are running scared and signing up left and right after Thor’s clone killed Goliath. Which was a horrible scene to watch. Poor Hank.
The also began using the new thunderbolts team, which is entirely comprised of super villains, basically. Watching Spider Man get the shit kicked out of him by the bad guys, and knowing that the government was sanctioning it— ouch.
Also Black Panther and Storm make an awesome power couple. Black Panther is an awesome leader to a global resistance to super hero reform. You’d hope that Namor isn’t hiding an ulterior motive. But he definitely is, even if it doesn’t come out immediately.
