The Day of the Peacock
This awesome book is available from Abrams for $45. It provides the reader with a crash-course education in modern men’s fashion movement or “Dandyism”.
Full page illustrations allow young minds to idly daydream what life was like for the hip young professionals in 1960’s Britain. It also highlights fashion icons of the era like tailor Tommy Nutter who hooked up acts like the Rolling Stones and the Beatles with hip threads.
Anyone with an interest in vintage or retro fashion should pick up this book. But you don’t have to take my word for it.
